Generative Design in lightweight construction for mobility systems – the BIKINI research project of our workgroup " product creation", funded by the BMWK and launched in 2021, is coming to an end after 3 years. The jointly developed methods and software prototypes enable the automated collection of requirements and end-to-end sustainability assessment. The case study developed for different application scenarios showed the great relevance for future product engineering: an interior part of the company EDAG Engineering Group AG. The results are in – now it's time for further transfer into practice!
