Project groups

Project groups work in teams on tasks that are thematically embedded in the scientific environment of the institute with its multi-layered close co-operation with companies and industry. This networking of the institute with many well-known companies opens up diverse and interesting tasks for project work and serves to promote the professional field and labour market relevance and the acquisition of interdisciplinary skills.

In project work, students should practise independent scientific and engineering work on defined theoretical and practical tasks in a team. This should enable them to solve complex problems in a team, whereby students should learn not only independence but also organisational skills. They should also be able to formulate the research task, document the selection of methods and the analysis and present the results of their work in a structured manner. After completing the project work, students will have in-depth specialist skills in a selected field and recognise the application relevance of their course content.

The following projects are offered in WS 23/24: Projects_WS2324
