Our "Philosophy and Ethics of Scientific and Technological Cultures" workgroup is pleased to welcome Anastasia Margariti-Börgel to the team!
Anastasia works with a focus on food cultures, foodways and nutrition as performed identity, with further specialisations in environmental anthropology and the points of contact between these fields. Her master's thesis was dedicated to the impact of climatic changes and disasters on the culinary heritage of Cretan hospitality.
In her free time, she enjoys travelling and experimenting in the kitchen. She also accompanies music, not only by listening or occasionally playing music, but also in her ethno-musicological projects.
Welcome Anastasia!
