Together with the Finish Meteorological Institute and the Finnish Ministry of the Interior, the “Product Creation” workgroup presented the CREXDATA project and demonstrated innovative technologies for the management of critical situations at the Emergency Services Academy in Kuopio, Finland. Developed technologies were presented as part of a practice-oriented hands-on exhibition. End users from the Emergency Service Academy were able to test project results in realistic scenarios and provide valuable feedback. The geo-referenced early warning system ARGOS, a tool for predicting emergency call hot-spots in extreme weather situations, fatigue assessment for first responders using biometric data analysis with explainable AI and Augmented Reality at the field were demonstrated. The successful demonstration underlines our commitment to developing practical solutions based on extreme data for the protection of people, critical infrastructure and effective crisis management in extreme weather events.
