19th German Sustainability Award: The Circular One Eco Headlamp is among the nominees in the “Products, Climate Transformation” category. We were nominated for a headlamp that combines safety-critical automotive technology with the requirements for CO₂ reduction, resource conservation, and circularity.
This nomination confirms our commitment to integrated approaches throughout the entire value chain—from the selection of suitable raw materials, through CO₂-optimized use, to recycling at the end of the life cycle.
The Circular One Eco Headlamp was developed as part of the PTKA’s NALYSES project consortium in collaboration with HELLA GmbH & Co. KGaA (consortium leader), BMW AG, Covestro Deutschland AG, Geba Kunststoffcompounds GmbH, the Fraunhofer Institute for Design Engineering and Mechatronics IEM, Hamm-Lippstadt University of Applied Sciences, and our Heinz Nixdorf Institute at the Paderborn University.
The German Sustainability Award “Products” honors groundbreaking products, services, and (digital) systems that effectively drive transformation and thus serve as role models in their respective markets.
The winners will be honored on December 3, 2026, in Düsseldorf.
