Our research assistant, Sriteja Kummita, from the “Secure Software Engineering” workgroup, will be attending the International Conference on Software Maintenance and Evolution in Benevento, Italy, from September 14 to 18.
There, on September 18, he will give a talk on the topic ‘Risk-Adjusted Power Schedules in Greybox Fuzzing’. The talk demonstrates how methods from the world of finance can be applied to software testing. It focuses on the question of whether assessing risk can help to allocate computing time more effectively across different tests, thereby enabling new bugs to be found more quickly.
IEEE ICSME 2026 brings together international researchers to discuss the latest developments and innovations in the maintenance and further development of software. Topics of focus include, amongst others, artificial intelligence, large language models and software quality.
