Prof. Dr Wolfgang Müller, Associate Professor in our System and Circuit Technology workgroup, will be attending the “Forum on Specification & Design Language” (FDL 2026) in Rome, Italy, from 9 to 11 September 2026. There, alongside other panellists, he will take part in the panel discussion titledn ‘The Virtual Prototype (VP) is Dead – Why do we invest so much effort in something that is rarely used’.
The FDL is an international event at which researchers and industry spokespersons exchange their experiences, progress and new trends relating to languages, tools and techniques for the development of software and hardware. The systems covered include cyber-physical systems, distributed systems, real-time systems, embedded systems, mechatronics, the Internet of Things (IoT) and reactive systems. The event encourages scholarly and controversial discussions within and across scientific disciplines at various stages of maturity.
