A new book has been published as part of the DFG Priority Programme SPP2111.
Professors Christoph Scheytt and Christian Kress from our "Circuit Technology" workgroup are actively involved as editors.
The book summarises the priority programme for the development of integrated electronic-photonic systems. The focus is on the combination of electronics and photonics in order to overcome the performance limits of classic signal processing and to develop faster and more efficient technologies.
The results are divided into three main areas:
- Ultra-wideband electronic-photonic signal processing with a bandwidth that far exceeds the electronic bandwidth
- Frequency synthesis and high-speed data converters
- Optical/THz sensor technology
