Consortium meeting of the LiRaS research project

 |  Heinz Nixdorf InstituteSystem and Circuit Technology / Heinz Nixdorf Institut

The third consortium meeting of the LiRaS research project, in which our Circuit Technology group is involved, took place on 29 and 30 July. All consortium partners were invited to the Heinz Nixdorf Institute in Paderborn to plan the next steps of the project. After clarifying current technical issues, the first working day was rounded off with a tour of the city and a visit to the Libori Festival.

LiRaS is a novel sensor system that combines the advantages of photonic radar and lidar. The combination of the two technologies promises a high-resolution measurement of the environment and is therefore ideally suited for supporting vehicles in road traffic, for example.
