We cordially invite you to the HNI-Forum 2026 on 5 February 2026 at 3 pm. The HNI-Forum is a series of lectures focussing on current research trends and projects. The aim is to convey ideas, challenges and solutions in a generally understandable way.

There will be two exciting lectures on the main topic of "Neurosymbolic Artificial Intelligence". Prof Dr Axel-Cyrille Ngonga Ngomo, head of our "Data Science" workgroup, will give a talk on the topic of "Explainable neurosymbolic machine learning on knowledge graphs". In addition, Hector Geffner, Professor at RWTH Aachen University, will complement the HNI Forum as a guest speaker. We are pleased that he will present his lecture "Representation learning to act and plan".

We are looking forward to interesting insights into this topic!
