The International Conference on Natural Language & Information Systems will take place from 17 to 19 June in Trondheim, Norway, and our research associates Daniel Vollmers and Arnab Sharma, as well as Axel-Cyrille Ngonga Ngomo, head of our “Data Science” workgroup, will be actively participating.

NLDB 2026 brings together researchers and practitioners from the fields of NLP, information retrieval and generative AI. The focus is on current developments in large language models, AI safety, explainable AI and the processing of large text and web datasets. The programme includes keynotes, technical presentations and discussions on the technical, ethical and economic challenges of modern AI.
