Two weeks ago, the mid-term event of the LiRaS project took place at the Heinz Nixdorf Institute. The project partners from research and industry took the opportunity to present the results of the first 1.5 years together and on site in the laboratories of our "System and Circuit Technology" workgroup. Appreciation to the VDI, the project sponsor, which gave the green light for the second half of the project. LiRaS is the name of a new type of lidar-radar combination system that combines the advantages of photonic radar and lidar.
