Andreas, a former member of our “Secure Software Engineering” workgroup, successfully completed his PhD on the topic “Secure Use of Open-Source Software – A Systematic Study and Techniques” under the supervision of Prof. Dr Eric Bodden.
He currently works at Finanz Informatik GmbH & Co. KG as a Security Software Architect. In this role, he works at the interface between software architecture and IT security. His main areas of focus are secure software engineering, software supply chain security, DevSecOps, and the automation of security analyses and development processes. In this role, he works with his colleagues to design security solutions, advises projects on security architectures, and supports the introduction of new security standards, training programmes and technologies.
