Today would be Heinz Nixdorf's 100th birthday. On this day, we cannot simply work ‘normally’ in the office and laboratory: We are taking the day as an opportunity to pause for a moment and look back on his impressive life's work and honour how he shaped the research landscape in Paderborn.
Together with Fraunhofer IEM, we will listen to keynote speeches by Prof. Dr Nikolaus Risch from the Executive Board of the Heinz Nixdorf Foundation and Dr Martin Schmitt, historian specialising in digital history at the University of Paderborn; moderated by Prof. Roman Dumitrescu.
