Short description

The lecture gives an introduction to analysis and design of analog and digital circuits and systems. It builds on basic knowledge of electron devices (bachelor-level) and the compulsory lectures "Advanced System Theory" and "Modeling and Simulation".

  • Analysis methods for analog and digital systems
  • Elementary analog circuits
    • Transistor equivalent circuits, DC analysis, AC small-signal analysis
    • Single-transistor-amplifiers, differential amplifiers, operational amplifiers
  • Elementary digital circuits
    • CMOS-Logic
    • Design of sequential circuits
  • Application examples
  • Simulation of analog and digital circuits
