Prof. Eric Bodden receives ISSTA 2017 ACM SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Award

Prof. Eric Bodden from Heinz Nixdorf Institut and Lisa Nguyen Quang Do from Fraunhofer IEM receive the ACM SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Award from ISSTA 2017 for their Paper "Just-in-Time Static Analysis". Lisa Nguyen Quang Do is going to accept the award on the 26th ISSTA conference, which will be held in Santa Barbara, California, on July 10th–14th, 2017.

The distinguished paper "Just-in-Time" Static Analysis" deals with the interleave of code development and bug fixing in an integrated development environment. The paper was written in an international collaboration. The other authors are Karim Ali from the University of Alberta, Justin Smith and Emerson Murphy-Hill from the North Carolina State University and Benjamin Livshits from the Imperial College London. Only 10% of the accepted papers receive the prestigious award.

The ACM SIGSOFT International Symposium on Software Testing and Analysis (ISSTA) is the leading research symposium on software testing and analysis. Their focus is on bringing together academics, industrial researchers, and practitioners to exchange new ideas, problems, and experience on how to analyze and test software systems.
