Klaus Danne received his diploma degree in Engineering Computing in 2002 from the University of Paderborn, Germany. As Ph.D. student he was researcher at the Heinz Nixdorf Institute of Paderborn in the group of Prof. F. Rammig. Since 2005 he is with the group of Prof. M. Platzner at Paderborn University. Beside his Ph.D. topic 'Real-Time Multitasking in Embedded Systems Based on Reconfigurable Hardware' his research interests include all aspects of reconfigurable computing systems, especially partial dynamic reconfiguration, operating system approaches and efficient FPGA implementation of applications such as control systems.
