  1. Introduction and basics of mechatronic systems
  2. Behavioral Models for the design of mechatronic systems 
  3. Conception based on two cooperating robots as an example 
  4. Domain specific elaboration by means of the above indicated example
  5. Model-based integration and commissioning

In model-based design methodical proceeding is a vital basis for a structured and efficient product development. The lecture conveys methods and behavioral models for the design of complex mechatronic systems and illustrates them by means of two cooperating robots. Thus, students learn to understand model-based design using an idealized principle solution ranging from a subject-specific elaboration to its integration and commissioning.
