Fileservice

The Central Filserver of the Heinz Nixdorf Institute offers enough disc space for all users to save the data necessary for their studies or work. A backup will be stored daily, so we can recover important data in case an error occurs. We also set up seperate Fileservers for each major working group to avoid a "single point of failure". This ensures that a problem wont be able to stop the work of every employee at once and that we can find a substitute for a failing seperate Fileserver at short notice.
