Abstract

The challenge of expressive Mixed Reality
applications is a smooth integration of computer
generated content in the real world. We describe the
basic ideas of a structured design approach for
interactive Mixed Reality content. Objective of this
project is to define and implement a system for the
rapid prototyping of mixed reality applications. We
have developed an iterative design process and a set
of tools that support short turn-around cycles in the
conception, design and implementation of MR
applications and allow exploring the Mixed Reality
design space.
