Lecture-No.:

L.104.52290

Type of course:

Lecture (2 SWS)

Schedule:

The event takes place in the summer term.

Current schedule of events will be announced in Paul.

Requirements / foundation:

Control Engineering, Advanced Control Engineering, advanced knowledge in mathematics

Content:

  • Pseudoinverse matrix and Penrose-theorem
  • singular value decomposition
  • solution of ill-posed inverse problems
  • regularization techniques
  • application to parameter identification
  • basics of functional analysis
  • H_2 and H_infinity control, robustness

Objectives:

This lecture is a follow-up to the lectures on Control Engineering and Advanced Control Engineering. The students shall become familiar with selected mathematical methods of control theory and their application to analysis and design of control systems.

Text books / further reading:

  • Hansen, P.C.: Regularization Tools – a Matlab package for analysis and solution of discrete ill-posed problems, 2001.
  • Heuser, H.; Wolf, H.: Algebra, Funktionalanalysis und Codierung. B.G. Teubner, 1986.
  • extending literature: Heuser, H.: Funktionalanalysis. 4. Aufl., B. G. Teubner, 2006.

Material:

Lecture and exercise material is available on the e-learning-platform Koala.
