The "Neue Bahntechnik Paderbon (NBP)" is a research initiative founded in 1997 at the University of Paderborn. The objective is to develop a new, innovative transport system for mobility in the future. Scientists and students from seven university chairs are jointly doing research on the new rail system in the domains of mechanical and electrical engineering, economics, and information science.
