PrintThe design of mechatronic systems has first of all to focus on a function-oriented processing, quite contrary to the conventional approach in mechanical engineering where up to the present, almost exclusively a shape-oriented procedure has been applied and taught which relies mainly on an evolutionary "trial and error" design cycle.
